Former Cats Jacob Tamme and Freddie Maggard will host Pro Day show

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky will hold its annual NFL Pro Day for draft eligible players on Friday, March 4 in the Nutter Indoor Field House. Pro Day, which attracts scouts and player personnel from nearly every NFL team, will be streamed live on and SEC Network +. Dick Gabriel, along with former UK quarterback Freddie Maggard and former Wildcat and current Atlanta Falcons tight end Jacob Tamme, will host the show. Pro Day is not open to the public, but will be open to credentialed members of the media.

Nineteen UK alumni are set to participate, including Josh Forrest and A.J. Stamps, who participated in the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis last week. The entire list is below. (an updated bio sheet is attached to this email)

The athletes will be put through a variety of skills tests which includes running and agility drills, bench press, position-specific drills and the vertical jump.

The NFL Draft is set for April 28-30 at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago, Ill. It will be televised on ESPN and the NFL Network.
