Georgia linebacker commits to Kentucky

By LARRY VAUGHT

Kentucky had over 100 football recruits on campus Saturday. It paid off tonight when Georgia junior three-star linebacker K.D. McDaniel gave his verbal commitment to UK on Twitter.

“I would like to shut down all my recruiting and say that I am 100 percent committed to Kentucky,” McDaniel posted on Twitter.

The 6-2, 222-pound McDaniel is from Tifton, Ga. He had scholarship offers from South Carolina, Troy, East Carolina, South Alabama, Central Florida and South Florida.

  1. Good news.

  2. Yes it is, but we are pitting 3 star players against 4 and 5 star players at too many positions still. Until Stoops can land some 5 star talent, the Cats will always be an also ran.
