Davidson’s Peyton Aldridge named to all-district team

For the second straight season, Davidson’s Peyton Aldridge has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District Team.
Aldridge, the 2018 Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Year, led Davidson to its first-ever A-10 Conference Tournament title this past weekend, earning Most Outstanding Player honors.
In addition to scoring in double figures 41 straight games dating back to last season, Aldridge continues to lead the Wildcats in scoring (21.5 ppg) and rebounding (7.8 rpg).
Just one of five players in school history to crack the 2,000-point plateau, Aldridge ranks among Davidson’s all-time leaders in scoring (2,159/3rd), rebounds (889/3rd), 3-pointers made (238/6th), free-throw percentage (.826/3rd), blocks (115/3rd) and starts (129/1st).
Making their 14th NCAA Tournament appearance, the Wildcats will play fifth-seeded Kentucky Thursday at 7:10 p.m. (ET) in Boise, Idaho.
