As he vowed he would do, Georgia guard Ashton Hagans has reclassified to the 2018 recruiting class and will join the Kentucky program next week.
Hagans graduated early and will join Keldon Johnson, E.J. Montgomery, Tyler Herro, and Immanuel Quickley in the next UK freshman class.
Hagans is a 6-4, 190-pound combo guard who was ranked among the top 10 players in the 2019 recruiting class. He averaged 9.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists through eight games for Game Elite Gold on the Adidas Gauntlet this spring.
Hagans originally committed to Georgia but decommitted when coach Mark Fox was fired and then picked UK over Auburn, North Carolina, Florida State and Georgia Tech.
