I will be hosting two hours of sports radio Tuesday with one common them — Pendleton County coach Keaton Belcher will be on both shows to talk about his star player, Dontaie Allen, giving his verbal commitment to the University of Kentucky last week.

From 8-9 a.m., I will fill in for the vacationing Michael Bennett on 1080 WKJK in Louisville, 99.5 The Fan in Paducah and 1240 WFTM in Maysville (you can also listen on the iHeartRadio app).

Bennett told me the show was The Morning TipOff. Now I think it might be Just The Tip Off. Either way, it will be fun.

I’m even going to have Michael Russell join me. I met him during my recent visit to the Margaritaville Resort in Gatlinburg when I learned not only is a a UK alum, but he remains a huge UK basketball fan even in Tennessee. He is the resort’s general manager and fortunately for him, also has several die-hard UK fans working there for him.

At 9 a.m. I move over to The Leach Report while Tom Leach makes the transition to the Bahamas for the four upcoming UK basketball exhibition games.

Belcher will re-join me about 9:15 a.m. and then at 9:30 I will have recruiting writer/videographer Krysten Peek on with me. We will get her insights on UK’s current freshmen, commits Tyrese Maxey and Dontaie Allen, thoughts about Kahlil Whitney and much more as she covered the top high school players the last month.
