Dontaie Allen hits 50 again, scores 57 points in win over Bryan Station

By LARRY VAUGHT
Kentucky signee Dontaie Allen of Pendleton County set another career scoring high when he poured in 57 points in a win over Bryan Station Friday night.
Allen was 17-for-30 from the field, including 5-for-10 from 3-point range. He got to the foul line 21 times and made 18.
If that wasn’t enough, he also was his normal self on the boards with 18 rebounds. He completed his stat sheet with four blocked shots, three assists and one steal.

Allen has scored 50 or more points in six of Pendleton’s 12 games this year. He just missed breaking the school scoring mark of 59 points set by Talbert Turner on Dec. 20, 1983.

  1. Dontaie is having quite the season so far. Its a shame that Calipari will tell him he doesn’t know how to play next year and keep him on a short leash.
