After scoring 92 points in two weekend games, Kentucky signee Dontaie Allen of Pendleton County now has 3,136 points — 23rd best all-time in Kentucky. He also needs just 48 points to pass Talbert Turner to become the all-time leading scorer at Pendleton County.

“Going 3-1 this week and being 7-3 overall is a good start for our basketball team. We’ve shown a lot of growth in the first third of the season and there’s not a doubt in my mind we will continue to get better,” Pendleton County coach Keaton Belcher said.
Allen is averaging 43.9 points and 15.4 rebounds per game this season.
He’s played 115 career games and is averaging 27.7 points and 10.1 rebounds per game. He’s made 237 3-pointers and 1,084 total field goals. He also has 352 assists, 271 blocks and 189 steals.
