PIGEON FORGE — I always like to find new spots to visit when I come to here and Pigeon Forge Snow certainly did not disappoint my family.
It’s a great indoors attraction with a set temperature between 65 and 70 degrees — there’s no other place like it in the United States — where folks of all ages can snow tube or just play in the snow. We saw an 80-year-old woman try tubing and so do this 67-year-old man. There was one 3-year-old girl and my four grandchildren range in age from 6-10 and they all loved it.
You hit speeds to 30 to 35 miles per hour coming down the slide but always stop safely at the bottom. And unlike water parks, you don’t have to climb to get to the slide. You simply get on a moving walkway with your tube and ride to the top (that allowed by 6 year old to go about 35 times in one hour).
And get this — the price for unlimited tubing for an hour is only $25. Best bargain in Pigeon Forge for the money.

Another plus is that www.alpinephotostn.com is on duty and takes photos for sell then or later on the website that are fantastic. No way you can take photos on your own to match what these photographers get and the memories these photos provide are priceless. Just ask my grandkids.
These photos by Alpine Phots (and yes, most are of my four grandchildren) give you an idea of what to expect..
